Excellent location , very clean and staff very helpful.

Tiny rooms, quite claustrophobic, for sleeping only.

Schönes Gebäude, nachts in festlicher Beleuchtung direkt neben der Gracht und dem Reichsmuseum im Museums-Viertel. Innen wurde es wohl vor Jahren umgebaut und modern renoviert und auf dem techn. neuesten Stand gebracht. Meine Frau und ich kennen es noch von unseren Flitterwochen im Jahre 1966 und da hieß es noch "Museumshotel". Aus Nostalgie haben wir es diesmal für 3 Tage aufgesucht. Es hat sich gelohnt. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist mehrsprachig, freundlich,hilfsbereit und kompetent. Sehr angenehm auch der Frühstückskellner.Ich denke auf unserer nächsten Studienreise nach Amsterdam werden wir es wieder aufsuchen. kellner

Don't be put off because of the small rooms, it's still a good hotel.

Very nice hotel in a quiet location but walkable to all the sights of Amsterdam. The Leidesplein are is only a 5 mins walk where a good variety of bars and restaurants can be found. The hotel has recently been renovated with everything being nice and new, however the rooms and the bathroom are very small. Having paid only 50 pounds a night it was definately good value for money. 2 Computer including a printer to be used free of charge in the lobby. Wifi apparently free, too.

There is a really good nightclub close to the Hotel called Milkyway.

Should mention non smoking policy. The third floor is terrible and has nothing to do with the rest of the hotel. In the end however it was a nice hotel.

Perfect location, away from the hustle and bustle, but near enough to everything you would want to see in amsterdam! A last minute booking, on my 6th trip, and I have finally found a reasonably priced hotel with a decent sized room.

Very new and presentable. Excellent location for those wishing to explore the museums district.

The staff were not very friendly and my room was not ready on time (I waited over 40 min). Internet security was an issue - I used their internet and had my details stolen for fraudulent purposes.

The hotel was clean and brights and everyone was cheerful and helpful.

The rooms and bathrooms were small and difficult for my travelling companion who is a large man. Also my parents had the adjoining room and they had no cold water in the bathroom one evening and the next day the window fell out.l
