Sarawak er en af de to stater der ligger på øen Borneo, Malaysia. Den ligger i den nordøstlige del af øen og er den største stat i landet. Den administrative hovedstad er Kuching.
Blandt de vigtigste attraktioner i området kan vi anbefale Tua Pek Kong templet, som er det ældste kinesiske tempel i Sarawak. Yderligere den største bazar (Main Bazaar) i byen som er tilbage fra 1864, her kan du købe alle mulige antikviteter og lokale kuntshåndværker. Et andet imponerende monument i byen er moskeen Kuching Divisional (Kuching Divisional Mosque), som blev færdigbygget i 1968, men som er bygget på fundamentet af en gammel moske fra 1852.
Yderligere kan du besøge det runde tårn (Round Tower) bygget i 1886; hvis årsag til opførelsen stadig er et mysterie den dag i dag, men som på grund af sin struktur, menes at være bygget som en fæstning ved undtagelsestilfælde. I dag kan man nyde en fantastisk udsigt ud over byen fra toppen af tårnet.
